I almost didn't upload these soot cards because they loose so much in the scan. This one is done on brushed copper and is indescribable IRL. All I can say is--try it! I did these for a swap. I'm also going to do one in gold.

Wow and again I say, WOW. I would NEVER have thought to use metallic paper for sooting. I love this technique and your cards are absolutely SPECTACULAR! Thank You! My DH is lighting the candle right now to try this!

Oh my again Leslie! You may have invented a new technique with soot stamping on brushed cardstock! Can't wait to see the one in gold!!! Those scans can be bears but even so this looks so rich and shiny and ...oh my!!!
