Lydia, Lydia - a tribute to Lydia for all of her work in the HYCCT challenges and all the fun we had while she "tortured" us during the prize giveaways. Her F4A challenge today was to make a card with squares (as in pixels) with extra points if we use 3 or more and they're lined up.
I've got six and they're lined up! I ran the base layer and the squares through embossing folders. I inked the edge of the circle just to make it stand out a little more.
This is also for Betty's color challenge this week to use Lucky Limeade, Baja Breeze, and Calypso Coral. I don't have those colors, but did my best to match. I wasn't too sure what color limeade was. I think these colors go together nicely!
I have to give credit to Nurse11349 for the idea as I case'd her card here: HYCCT1119, Give 'em a squeeze by nurse11349 at Splitcoaststampers I laid out my squares a little different, used different colors, and embossed the squares rather than crimp them. I also left off the center ribbon because I just didn't have room for it. Thanks Nurse11349!
