I went to the wholesale florist the other day and was like a kid in a candy store. Lots and lots of ribbon to catch the eye and many other little items to ooh and ahh over. I came across theses little gems on wires in the wedding area and just had to buy a pack. I'll be going back for more, getting different colors. There's 5 crystals on each stem.
They work perfectly into the wreath after cutting about 4" off the wires. Just wind the wire around the circle frame, bending the wire to get the crystals where you want them. There are 4 stems on this wreath.
I must have punched about 60-80 evergreen branches from this dp. I didn't count, I just know that the punching is not good for my hands, shoulders and neck. I punch half from the top side of the dp and the other half from the bottom, this way the branches go both directions.
It's just a matter of putting the evergreen branches in a little glue and placing them where you want, working around the wreath and building up. I tried to cover the wires as much as possible.
When you have the evergreens as you want them, then glue on the berries that you have made with the hole punch. Then you will put the bow on. This is doubled on the top portion to give more dimension.
The brad is adhered with glue after breaking off the prongs.
This card will be going to another special someone. It will be hard to decide who gets what!

Oh my, Jennifer, this is just stunning! I love your silvery wreath on the bright red door! I know what you mean about excessive punching - had 300 wedding invitations to do once, and the repeated action does cause problems!!!
