I love this technique! It's just like polished stone, except you use the cottonball, alcohol and ink and dab it onto the stamp rather than onto glossy. After the image is covered, you stamp it like usual onto your paper. HTH!

This is too cool! Can you provide a little more detail on how to do this? For example do you place the drops of ink directly on the stamp and then take the cotton ball with the alcohol and swirl it around? Do you then just stamp your image on regular cardstock (not glossy). I have a swap that I'm in that we're featuring polished stone this month. I would love to try this instead of the traditional polished stone. TIA!

I'm wondering if you stamp the image in versamark, then do clear EP, THEN do the polished stone technique as usual, right onto the CS?? Sure is awesome!
