I have been traveling for a few weeks - I am anxious to get back in the groove as well as replenish my card stash - and there are lots of challenges for catching up.
Nothing like choosing a most daunting task for starters - casing Karen B Barber! I realize that there is no such thing as casing a pro like her, but at least I tried!
A belated congratulations, Karen, on an honor so well deserved - for your creativity, support of SCS, and also support of the members with your comments. I have been a fan for some time!
This card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=138472
- represents her two trademarks - tiny highlighted flowers and great ribbon. I tried her technique on the leaves, but my white gel pens would not cooperate.
I kept the layout and general theme, but the image and ribbon are different, as are the colors.
