A few of you know that we had a little puppy drama this last week at our house... over the course of 3 days, our dog had 9 puppies, 5 of them stillborn. 4 of them are hanging in there, so we're happy for a good outcome from a rather stressful week! My kids handled the whole thing so well.
I just needed to sit down and watercolor tonight, and I pulled out this stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - I adore this puppy, and I painted him dark brown just like the 4 puppies at our house. I sketched in a little scene for him so it looks like he's at a doorstep.

Those puppies are tooo cute! I want to hold one. Your card is wonderful as well - water colored to perfection, love the sketched doorstep (impressive), and it is a wonderful way to celebrate this blessing. Heartwarming creation for sure!

I am sooo sorry for your loss, but am glad the 4 did survive...being raised on a farm we had kittens and puppies and there is nothing worse then seeing them born stillborn, so sad.
But here is such a cutie, lookin like hes ready to be picked up. great scene, you created to wonderfully..very talented, I draw some too and its hard to get angles and that right when drawing like you did, super job...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it...great colors and coloring too, the circle frames it so neatly....TFS...:0)
