This week our Teapot cards are going to a couple that is facing some serious health issues. Happy kitty mail is on the way. John and Jane have a pair of cats that think they are divas. Doesn't just about every cat think that?! For today's Teapot challenge, we are to bring cats that are divas and all jeweled up.
These little Divas are all divine,
the little kittens are on cloud nine.
Their coats are shiny and oh so sleek,
just one look and you know they're chic.
They sit upon their beds of flowers,
keeping them groomed takes hours and hours.
The jewels they wear sparkle and shine,
these kittens are Divas you cannot deny.
These little Divas sit upon a bg of K and Co. Que Sera Sera dp.
I have used the kissing technique on all three to make their coats look somewhat like tiger cats, they each have several layers of clear ep, so they shine and gleam for their photo shoot. Of course each one is wearing a collar of jewels.
I have been playing with ribbon lately and made this yo yo or flower (whatever it's called) by sewing along one edge and up the seam to make the flower. A gold button is added in the middle. So there's lots of bling for these Divas.
The Divas sit upon a rug of gold with flowers for their beds.
I'll be sending both of these cards out to John and Jane, as soon as I get these uploaded, I'm on my way to the PO.

Ohhhh - they are gorgeous, from their kissed fur to their little floral cushions and the fish dinner of their dreams. I think those are ribbon flowers, at least that's what they're called in the tutorial in Resources. I think a yoyo is something different - a solid circle of fabric gathered round the edge and then tucked in; as if you were covering a button form, only without the button .
