 | | Vicki's colors were truly a challenge for me today. I'm not sure how you all feel about blue leaves but I kinda like them. I combined the CAS sketch from yesterday with today's colors for my card.
Very simple today...rock and rolled leaves in turquoise and cajun, stamped the waterspots and a bit of linen bg in crumb cake, sponged some more crumb cake around the edges and used a retired SU! rub-on for the sentiment. The cajun panel is sponged and distressed and the crumb cake base is embossed with the square lattice ef. I punched leaves out of cajun cs, stamped with the leaf from the French Foliage set, sponged the edges and crumpled them up. They are popped up for today's dessert!
I love these color challenges as they stretch my creativity week after week! Thanks, Vicki! |
