This is my card for this weeks color challenge #348. Vicki is our hostess and she chose the trio of Cajun craze, turquoise and crumb cake. I used some choc chip as my neutral color for layering.
I thought this color scheme was just screaming for a fall card. I needed another thanksgiving card (maybe 2) so I took that route.
I used the scarecrow & pumpkins from the Stampin-Up set “happy fall y’all”. I colored my scarecrow with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
I cut him out and then layered on a piece of cardstock to create a little scene. I punched a little fence, tied a little tag to it and popped up pumpkins.
I paper pieced his hat and the leaves with cajun craze cardstock.
My bg embossing is the cuttlebug folder “autumn type”. Added some ribbon and twine and that completed my card.
