For Brandi’s Girl Scout Gold Award she helped design and construct a 60’ x 120’ riding arena at the Wolf’s Corners’ Fair Grounds. She was assisted by family, fair staff members, and her Wolf’s Corners Youth & Ag Club. She started her project in May and completed it before the 4th of July Fair Started. The ring was a welcome addition to the fairgrounds and was enjoyed by those participating in the halter & hitch classes, the fun horse show, and the Youth & Ag club horse clinics. Way to overcome those disabilities and excel Brandi – Great Job! We’re VERY proud of you!

The Gold Award is the highest award you can receive as a Girl Scout. It takes many, many, hours of leadership, planning, badge work, and a community oriented project approved by council to achieve this award. BrandiÂ’s Gold Award was presented at a Candlelit Ceremony, at Grace E.C. Church in Ninevah, on December 22, 2005. Her leader, and long time friend of the family, Vicki Miller, proudly pinned her award on her vest. Brandi was the first Girl Scout that Vicki had ever had the pleasure of presenting the Gold Award to. Her sister Charli read a poem about sisters and her Girl Scout Troop 812 presented her with a cake.

VERY PROUD! She has some learning disabilities and some medical problems. She worked very hard on this project and I can't begin to tell you how proud of her I am! It took her a LONG time to complete all the paperwork after the project was done but she did it with just a little help!
