This project has a similar feel to this wallpaper in color and in texture http://www.wallpapercollective.com/p...vin-jaune.html I am in a Bible Study titled Faithful, Abundant & True and its opening sequence on the DVD uses images similar to these and every time I watch it I think...."NEED to make a card." So, I've completed these 2 plaques to give to the leaders of the study (may make a few more for some of the other ladies later.) I got a bunch of these plaques at the thrift store for 10cents each!!!
For the bottom one I used So Saffron the top Daffodil Delight as the base. I inked my Canvas bg stamp with Lucky Limeade and stamped some of it off before stamping my bg. I then stamped the trees bottom in Always Artichoke top in Lucky Limeade and the flourishes in Lucky Limeade. I sponged the edges and added my sentiment in Chocolate Chip...the top had a crooked verse so I stamped onto a piece, punched and layered it over the mistake. The bottom had a mistake at the base of the tree where I'd added grass and didn't like it....took my Aqua-pen to "erase" then over stamped the area with the Canvas bg again. I also added some hemp to distract from that area.

How pretty! How wonderful to share your talents with your 2 moderators. Your thoughts represent exactly what the title of your bible study suggests. Beautiful work and a beautiful random act of kindness.
