I was so excited to see this week's sketch challenge SC357. I had just won a bid on Ebay for this Stampin Up Pattern of Friendship set, and thought it would be perfect with this sketch. You can see this sketch challenge here:
The image is only half of the image on the stamp. I also used for the first time an image from ODBD Spool and Tape, and got to use the matching die to go with it. That image isn't as long as it appears on this card. Since it is behind the pattern image, I cut it and stretched it (so to speak), so you see the tape sticking out on the right side of the pattern (does my explanation make sense?). Both the SU image and ODBD image are colored with COPIC markers. I did faux stitching on the smaller panel to go along with the sewing theme.
That is it. Glued them together and called it done. Thanks for stopping by. I sure hope you like it.

It's been forever since I saw Pattern of Friendship in the gallery, love it! And I totally understood your explanation of how you stretched out the image behind it Wonderful job!
