I decided to combine yesterday's TLC challenge with Bridget's HYCCT challenge of things you can see when you look up. For several months this year the wallpaper on my desktop was a chaffinch singing on a telephone cable, seen from below.
I've often seen these pyramage cards in UK magazines -generally done with kits and I can see why. I tried Labels 1 for my first attempt and just couldn't get them lined up right, and yet not off enough to work as a deliberate skewed effect, so I tried again with ovals.
A2 cream base sponged with purple.
Cream layer stencilled with foliage using Forest Moss and Tea Dye.
I stamped the image three times altogether, and layered up with foam dots. I added a scalloped layer sponged with blue for the base, and a sentiment from the same ODBD set.

Sabrina you are one of the brave ones. I am SURE that I could absolutely NOT get this to line up. Yours is perfect. I looked close. I may try it sometime when no one is looking.

Beautifully done with this technique, Sabrina, the branch bg is just perfect, and the pretty purple cardbase picks up the thistle color! Thanks so much for playing along in the "Lookin' up" challenge for such a great cause!
