Could hardly wait to try the telescoping image challenge. I knew I had the perfect stamp for it. Then I checked out the CAS challenge, thought the colors would work so off I went creating this card for the two challenges......
I had a cousin pass away unexpectedly this week. I had seen her just the week before and other than fighting depression she seemed okay. BUT then she just gave up. I hope I never become that despondent that my body gives up and shuts down. That's one reason I make cards......it makes me happy and keeps me thinking positive...
This one went together pretty simple. Stamped the weave bg using chocolate and versamark on very vanilla cs then clear ep. Sponged the edges.
The flower was stamped 4 times on white cs using versamark and gold ep. Then sponged on color and cut it out making each part smaller and smaller, thus the telescoping effect. Oh, popped up between each layer.
Put a brown ribbon on the bg, then put this on a white card with edges sponged ruby red and then ran a gold leaf pen around the edges.
The sentiment was done on the computer, cut out and rounded the corners on one side sponging edges.
As I was putting this altogether I found a left over from something punched set of green leaves that I thought would be just the right touch to finish this off.
Well, there you have it. Other than the reason for this card, it was a "make you happy while creating" kind of card. Say, have a wonderful rest of the day!....TFL :0)

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. I, too, find that making cards is uplifting and helps me stay focused. Your card is beautiful, and perfect for this particular challenge. Keep making those cards.
