A card for Lydia's *costume party* challenge today. I hope this qualifies as grunge! Certainly the only reason I had the TH die cuts is because somebody sent me a few after I made her a card that I didn't want to paid for.
A2 black Bazzill base.
Main layer is kraft - first I stamped and embossed the RSA Eiffel Tower: black ink, Iridescent Ice ep. Then I stamped the HA French script also in black, and the Tim Holtz leaves in Sepia. Over it all I stamped Canvas with Faded Jeans. Trimmed it down a tiny bit, distressed the edges and added a little bird charm and the Dymo sentiment.
For the diecuts I used gold, copper and Versamark inks, gold, copper and verdigris EP. The wings were stamped with Weathered inked with Versamark while the embossing powder was still warm. Stampendous music score and some distressing on the underlay for the heart, pearls added to the crown.
I do have a second sentiment printed with the Dymo - believe in your dreams. I don't want to waste it and I tell ya, those sort of sentiments are SO not me, so I think I'll put it on the inside. I'll be making a white insert anyway so that it's easy for anybody to write in without needing a white or silver pen.
