The third of my Happy Places is the Botanic Gardens - or any nice garden, if it comes to it. I was trying to incorporate the idea of lots of different flowers, so I went with a View-Master card. I use a simple rotating mechanism made from light card which eliminates the need to use a brad and either hide it or make a feature of it on the front!
A2 pink Bazzill base. Front is MME Bloom and Grow stuck to thin card for strength, middle layer is brown Bazzill.
Nestabilities make it much easier to position the window where you want - I used to be limited by the reach of my punches. After cutting the hole I framed it with a scalloped frame using pink Bazill Bling (also used on the fancy corner diecuts).
Images are all from Flourishes Calendar Year sets, stamped on a Bristol Board circle (I masked off 3/4 of the circle each time) and coloured with distress inks.
I added some lace, ribbon and a butterfly on the front, and a sentiment stamped with brown StazOn.
