 | | Such a fun site for today, although according to things I saw there I qualify as vintage, lol. I was inspired by the pink ornament here http://www.bluecarrotshop.com/detail...6&CatID=13.

My cute cardinal was punched from regal rose cs using the scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 and 2 inch circle punches. the black mask and more mustard beak were formed using the photo corners punch. I embossed the wing for texture, popped it up and sponged everything for depth. I masked the snow and brayered soft sky and cool carribbean for the sky. Taylored Expressions branch in espresso, snowflakes embossed in white from teh Christmas punches set. The ornament was embossed and colored with markers and popped up. I drew in the string and ornament loop.
