 | | This is my card for the inspiration challenge #308 inspired by the book 'cry baby calf'. I know, it's a bit of a stretch, but when I saw this digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, I knew it would be perfect for a birthday card for my little brother, who is turning 59 on the 31st. He's in town for the weekend, so I get to see him today.
The background is faux leather, created by crumpling up a piece of card stock and then coloring it with tea dye distress stain and a coating of matte gel medium. The faux wood piece was left over from another project. The brads are also faux - circles punched from grungeboard & colored with copic black marker. |
