What a wonderful sight, Anne, I was fascinated and looked at every single photo - I think I could become a collector of the children's books, I wanted to get my hands on every single one of them! But it was this ornament that reminded me of the pink pearls that I have:
ORNAMENT
The silhouette and sentiment are from two separate Sweet and Sassy Stamps sets and the doily made with a Cheery Lynn Designs die. When stamping silhouettes I always use Versafine Black Onyx because it gives a good strong image.

Love this beauty. Great take on the pink inspiration piece. Love everything about it. The contrast of the soft pink dots and the bold stripes really make a fantastic look. tfs

This card is exceptionally lovely! Great sketch and I like all of the detail, including the pink, black and white--- stripes, checks and dots, the stamping and embossing. It's going into my favs for future reference. :)
