 | | This is a small way that you can keep your scrapbook, crafting, stamping, card making, etc. supplies with you at all times. One of the most frustrating things to me is getting excited over a purchase and finding out that I already had the item or tool stuck in the bottom of a box somewhere. The unique aspect of this project for me was its size. This is a repurposed plastic cover from a dollar store purse calendar. Super fast and easy to make as well as functional.
Directions:
1. Measure the inside of your calendar cover to get the size that your inside paper needs to be.
2. After you measure, cut approximately twenty sheets of plain white copy paper to that size.
3. Fold the stack of cut paper in half and secure in the middle with a heavy duty staple gun and set aside.
4. Using the same measurement as before, cut a piece of printed cardstock and decorate however you wish.
5. Score the cover in the middle and slide it in the plastic cover. Do the same for the paper and you have the beginnings have a fabulous inventory tool.
6. I attached a ribbon to keep the book closed using 3/8 inch grosgrain and sticky tape. You can also include tabs for different categories along the side or decorative paper clips for holding notes while you are out shopping. The inside covers of the plastic can serve as additional pockets if desired as well.
7. And finally, but most importantly, don't forget to log all of your supplies in the book. After you get your initial inventory documented, it will be easy to add the embellishments, dies, punches, and tools as you buy them.
