This is my card for SC356 and I have to confess. I got a pm from gabalot this morning asking me to check out a particular card so I zoomed over to her gallery and the corrugated cardboard on her card for this sketch jumped out and hit me in the eye. It would not go away. I rarely ever look before I design my card, so I am feeling guilty. Thank you, Gabby for the great idea.
My BG is from a mat stack and run through an embossing folder. Then I added the cardboard which I sprayed with water and stripped on one side. Next I inked it all over.
I used the idea from a card I made for Queen Holly the other day that I just loved with leaves on the squares. They are stamped with CTMH ink and I used a Stamp Oasis leaf and Old French Writing. The orange leaf is a button and the lace is vintage.
Sentiment is computer generated and punched with a small oval punch. I like it.

I think using corrugated cardboard for that panel is a fab idea, too! You shouldn't feel guilty about trying something you saw and liked. As long as you give the person credit for their idea, it's all cool! Your card is equally gorgeous. I love the leaves and the embossing folder looks fab with it all! :)

Oh WOW Carol! Love all the texture you have going on here. Those leaves are so pretty including the red button one. What a WOW kind of card! TFS :0)
