I'm back after being gone for three weeks! I missed you Teapotters! Cindy told a hill-hairy-full story about King Kong and--no matter what--I knew I had to play! This card is for my Dad who LOVES bananas and eats one EVERY day! I'm sure he will "GO BANANAS" for this card! Hardy-har-har!
I didn't have any stamps to make a Kong card so I opted to use my Sizzix jungle leaf and MFT grass dies, and a SU round punch for the coconuts. I used a clip art ape, tree base and banana. I found a funky font in my Word program, typed and printed the sentiment. Used Ranger ink to distress the sky and sentiment.
Fun to make BUT OMGosh, it took me five days to to pick 42,000 (thanks Mudder!) bananas! Yah really! Kong has a King size appetite and was puttin them away faster than I could pick, color and cut em! What you see are all that's left! (BTW, my eyes are blind and my fingers will be cramped for a week d/t those banana nuggets of gold! Hee!)
THANKS for looking! Later tonight, I'll be back to the gallery to have another look and I'm sure, make some more comments.
