 | | This card is a for a fun exchange I have with a stamping friend. She threw down the gauntlet last year with a scarey, but fun, Halloween card so this year I'm returning the favor! I hope she likes it :) The title is actually the inside sentiment - Ghouls Night Out
The image is colored with Copics. I added a web on the oval frame and a spider hanging in front of her hat but I'm not sure it shows up in the picture. I stamped it in white and added sparkle. Normally I would stamp it in black but if I did it wouldn't show up against the black background of her hat. I added tiny flowers with a black gem in the center of each, as if it were her dress top. The dp, ribbon, button and large flower were all part of some blog candy that I won. I punched out some leaves in gray cardstock and added them behind the flower. The button has baker's twine (colored with a black marker) tied on it.
Hope it's not too scarey for you :) Halloween stamps can be so fun and freeing. I really enjoyed making it and this might become a yearly challenge for us. Thanks for looking and I hope it helps to inspire you to make a card, too. |
