I got news last week that the younger sister of one of my religious ed. students has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Lauren is in fifth grade. The doctors are quite optimistic about her succeeding in treatment and making a full recovery. I would however ask that each of you petition the Lord on her behalf. Thank you for that.
I wanted something warm and personal for her, so when I saw the color challenge I realized that my jammies that just had a wardrobe failure would serve nicely. Cut nestie hearts for layering, embossing the Island Indigo layer. CB embossed the Razzleberry layer with more hearts and mounted all on a Baja card. Added the sentiment and bow and done. PT - 4
Thank you so much for looking, and for keeping Lauren and her family in your prayers. Have a peaceful day.

Praying right now for Lauren's little sister - so much love has gone into this, right down to the fabric which represents comfort - beautifully done, Marie!

Your card is so pretty!! I love that you put fabric in the middle of your heart. My mom has lymphoma as well, and tomorrow is supposed to be her last chemo treatment. I will keep Lauren in my prayers.

What a sweet card for your young friend, Marie. I have gone thru this cancer with a dear family member and am happy to say that they had a great outcome thanks to chemo. Your friend will be in my thoughts and prayers.
