I created this in honor of Queen Holly (aka Hollerinastamps). Holly is our Queen for the Day this week, and a well deserved title for someone who has a such marvelous gallery. I fell in love and CASED this card of Holly's:
I realized after I made it, I had used the same background polka dot dp on a card not too long ago, but I just love polka dots
I also created this card for this week's challenge over on Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBDSLC81 Geometric Shapes). They asked us to create a card using at least 3 different shapes.
I changed the color scheme, changed the image, and the sentiment. Otherwise I kept the sketch exactly the same as Holly's. Why change perfection The image inside the Spellbinders Label 18 is a stamp set from ODBD that fits these labels perfectly. I only inked up part of the butterfly stamp from ODBD Faith set to fill in the void. I colored the image with COPIC markers, popped up image, and sentiment, added lace and called it done.
Thanks so much for looking. I appreciate it, and I hope you like it

This is a beauty, Barbie! I love your colors and your image is so pretty the way you've highlighted those butterflies. Love that sentiment too. Thank you for your sweet words and playing along in the challenge this week!

This is such a soft and gentle reminder of the stirring within our souls. Faith was my first ODBD set and one I particularly love for its beautiful verses and fluttering butterflies. You did a great job -Congratulations on winning the STL award this week for this great card!
