The Technique Lover's Challenge from Joan - stamp your border and the HYCCT challenge from Anna - use a bee on your card.
I stamped the focal image and colored it with a waterbrush and markers. Then, a spritzer tool was used with the lighter two colors. Then the edges were all torn. Next, the border was stamped with three different little background stamps in three different colors.
The embellies are home made buttons. They aren't as thick for mailing which I like! I used the SU Buttons #5 Sizzlet die in two colors, then I used a punch on the pink die cuts to make them slightly smaller than the green ones. They are glued together with Crystal Effects and then coated with Crystal Effects. When partially dry, I used my paper piercer and opened up the holes so they could be threaded with embroidery floss. Not difficult, just time consuming waiting for the CE to dry.
And finally, for a little sparkle, the bee and some of the border flowers are colored with a Gelly Roll Stardust pen.
Thanks for checking out my card and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!

TFS what a neat idea. Love those buttons. I have a button punch but never thought to use it like you did. Love the idea. And your card is very pretty and delicate looking. I am partial to pink and green.;>)

This is just super. Love the torn edged panel and the small stamps are sweet as can be. Wonderful card.

Pretty! This is one of my favorite stamps, and sad to say, I don't use it often. I'm so glad we remind each other of our neglected images!! Love the pink and the tiny leaves around the torn edges.
