I will admit I am a big fan of Albus Dumbledore. When he died, I cried and cried. I hoped he would come back in the last book and I was thrilled when he did - even it it was really only in Harry's head.
One of the smartest things he ever said was: "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. " This applies to so many parts of our lives. I prefer to think he meant look to God and to the positiveness that is inside us all. I admire people who can shine in the worst of times. One of my favorite people like that right now is J. R. Martinez who is now on Dancing with the Stars - what an unbelievably admirable man!!!! I love listening to this message:
I did this card for the Twisted Sisters challenge this week which is a sketch by CA. I could never find the sketch but I looked at all the other cards and tried to duplicate what all the sisters did. I turned the sketch a bit.
Hugz to all you sweet Twisted Ones.

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely message with us. You helped me a great deal today - I was so down and your post has given me the strength to move on a few steps more at a time! Thank you so much for bringing a light to me. I've printed out the image and it is hanging above my desk to remind me of the little lights, that, like Christmas tree lights are small but make a warm, sparkling, and bright tree. It may be a bit early, but the lighting of the yul log is the symbol of Christ coming into the world, of darkness giving way to light. Happy thanks and God bless. May you be surrounded by light eternal and happiness

Nancy - as if seeing the message on your card were not enough, (as I read if with the same meaning in my head as you did )- you included the clip of J R Martinez -
WOW, Sistah! I do not watch much TV at all as I am usually too busy to devote 100% attention to it, but I am so glad I watched the clip and I will watch the show just to see this man , shining like there is no tomorrow, because he sees the value of remaining positive, and trusting that God put him here for a purpose. We can all learn a lesson from him.
Your card is an inspiration, no matter how you view it!! THANK YOU!!
LYMI!! HUGS!

Nancy, right now I am so thankful for how the Father allowed our paths to cross, so I could see more of Him, in you. I love how you have used your talents to show His love, and that is what this is- love on paper. How beautiful to see and hear stories about how deeply God loves us, and to share that with others. It is why we are here. Thank you Sister for this card that is more beautiful than paper and ink. LYMI- always.....

Nancy not only do you make beautiful card, but you have a beautiful heart. God uses all of us to Glorify Him in different ways. He's given us all gifts, even ones we don't know we possess to touch other people with. For two years I didn't know what the purpose was for the changes in my life, but now I can see I was suppose to bless other people instead of the same ones all the time!!!! Thank you for making this gorgesous card and for reminding us of God's love for us each and every day!
Lord, use me. Use me as a vessel to do your will. Use me as a vessel to love on your people. Use me as a vessel to lift up bruised souls. Use me to be a blessing to others.
