I started with a piece of mulberry paper slightly larger than the plate. I stamped the images on the mulberry paper with Brilliance and heat set. Then applied a coat of Mod Podge to the back of the plate and laid the paper on, smoothing out the wrinkles and air bubbles. Cover with a coat of Mod Podge and let dry. Trim the paper along the edge of the plate. Apply another coat and let dry overnight. Apply 3 coats and let dry. Then spray with an acrylic sealer. When used, this needs to be wiped with a damp cloth, not submerged.

What a gorgeous gift this would make! Adding it to my favorites right away!
