These are reusable bottle charms. I got the idea here (I thought) but couldn't find them now. The girls always bring water bottles to volleyball, then have trouble telling whose are whose. This should help! These were done by simply stamping on shrink plastic and hooking on to one of the small pony tail holders. I kept with the team's colors or else it could have gone more crazy!

I love your tags. Where did you use the rectangle punch. Was it to punch the hole for the ribbon. Or for the tag it self. If for the tag what punch was it.Could you email me at JNico52 here at Split Coast. Thanks.

I used it for the hole to attach the pony tail holder. Remember that the hole you punch will shrink too. I actually started with a circle punch and switched to the rectangle punch, punching twice side by side to make a large opening bc the hole was ending up too small!
The unshrunk plastic was the width of the paper turned landscape for the length (8 1/2") then cut into 2" strips. Then I trimmed off any extra for short names and clipped the top into a tag shape. So the unfinished charm were between 8 1/2 to 5" long x 2" wide. The finished charm is deceptive looking in the picture. The shrunken size is about 3 1/2"x 1/2".
One thing to be careful of is the tendency to curl up on a piece of shrink plastic this size. I lightly dusted them with baby powder before shrinking then wiped it off to keep them from sticking to themselves.
The hardest part was getting the ribbon attached. I took the pony tail holder and poked it through the opening from the front to the back, then pushed the remaining piece through the opening to the back, bringing the first loop forward like you do for a tag. BEFORE tightening, I tied ribbon onto that little loop that would normally come forward and rest across the front. Then gave it a tug to secure it in. I really hope that makes sense. Pm me if not and I'll try to help ya out!
