I still had my purples out from making a card for the HYCCT challenge. I can't think of anything more encouraging than Scripture, but we are not including any verses on cards we sent in for these challenges at the request of the hospital where we're sending the cards. So, I guess this one will go to my favorite breast cancer patient, my mom!
I started by embossing a piece of vellum (one of my son's pieces of college mail came in an 8 1/2x11" vellum envelope!) and adhering it to a Wisteria Wonder base. I had cut a note card using my Top Note die and added my big organdy ribbon accent at the bottom. The verse was stamped, punched with 2 1/2" circle punch, sponged and distressed a bit. I layered a vellum flower (also cut from my recycled env.) and added a rhinestone brad center. I placed this over a Lucky Limeade swirl then added a few purple butterflies.
Purple was the color for the challenge because purple is the color for survivors...here's praying my mom joins that list eventually.
