 | | Hi everyone, This is for Elsie who is have a BD at the end of the month. As usually I didn't read the whole story~so no pink, frills, African Violets. I did a fall cupcake card. I started with a SU cupcake and couldn't get it stamped right or cut out~finally gave up and moved onto a different stamp. Then it dawned on me I have a punch for the cupcake~oh well maybe I will remember next time! The cupcake I finally used had a pumpkin on the top~so that's why I have a fall themed card.
I stamped the cupcake, colored with colored pencils. Used Peeled Paint Stickles for the frosting. I die cut the leaf, sponged on red, orange and antique linen ink. The card base is crumb cake, layered with brown, orange, dp. I added a paper piercing, hemp, ribbon. Stamped the sentiment. The stripped panel is the opposite side of the dp. Used a ek border punch.
Thank you Sharon and Cindy for our destination. I hope Elsie has a wonderful BD. It's so sad about her son David and all the men who lost their lives. But it was done in service to our country and I'm very proud of all of them. It's already 9:30 and I'm tired~I will be back tomarrow nite to comment. TFL
