Here's a copy of what I did for the collage section:
Today's HYCCT challenge reminded us that we are ALL touched by breast cancer whether directly or indirectly and challenged us to make a collage in pinks. I tried one of the techniques linked to the challenge called serendipity http://www.artwithoutanxiety.com/ I began with a base of Whisper White and used Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose ink pads to smear the direct to paper bg. I then stamped the leaves in Early Espresso and the Flowers in Rose Red doing some masking along the way to fill in my flowers between the leaves. I then smeared Versamark over the entire paper and spread clear ep and sprinkled a little gold ep in the first coat then did the same for a second clear coat. This was then cut out with the Top Note die and I hand cut along the "stitching" and layered on to of another die cut in early espresso.
For the base, I took a piece of dp and stapled pink staples in the corners. I layered this over Pink Pirouette cs that was sponged with the same ink.
The sentiment was stamped first in Versamark then Early Espresso and embossed in clear. I sponged the edges then layered on circles. I then used my Versamark pen to clear emboss the edges of the circles and scallop circle to match the shine of the main piece. I guess the look is simplified more than the directions ;)
