todays F4A86 challenge called for making a card with character.....I made this card for my aunt who has collected ceramic frogs for the past 50 years. She has them all displayed in a showcase....
After stamping the frog, I coloured him with Winsor & Newton watercolour paints and then cut him out... I then put stickles on his crown, which you cannot really see in the picture...(blame it on the sun, not the picture taker) lol......
anyway, thank you for taking a peek.... hope you like it.....

Hee, Hee!! I have had a few ceramic frogs in my life!!! You have done such a wonderful job creating this cute little hopper. Love his colors. My brothers and I painted a JUMBO ceramic frog sitting crosslegged for my mom one year. He had on a red plaid jacket with a gold "mum" in his lapel. The frog went with her when she remarried and my stepbrother still lived at home. I cleaned for her every Friday and the frog sat in the bathroom in front of the toilet. Everytime I cleaned the bathroom there was a towel over the frog which I removed and hung up rather disgustedly each week. Many years later my stepbrother revealed that he couldn't bear that frog LOOKING at him when he went to the washroom (creepy) so he always threw the towel over its head!!!
