For Libby's paint challenge, I used Mel McCarthy's pressure emboss resist technique (http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2011/0...-resists.html). I dry-embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock with the SU Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, then heat-embossing the raised pattern with clear embossing powder. I then took some pink paint wash (made with Claudine Hellmuth pink paint mixed with water) and painted over the embossed surface. The un-embossed parts of the paper absorbed the wash and left a faint pink hue behind.
I added some Pink Pirouette card stock to accentuate the pink, then the black satin ribbon and Stickles for contrast.
