This is a thinking of you card I made for a friend who was having surgery today. It's a pretty simple card as far a construction is concerned. The cuttlebug border panel was pop-dotted onto the card front and then the Nestie oval was snugged in on top. The flowers & pot on the oval were colored by sponging with tiny cosmetic sponges direct from ink pads, the mason jar was coated with Tattered Angels Icicle Glimmer Glaze for a bit of shine and then tiny pearls were added with abandon. It's kind of difficult to see in the photo, but there are narrow strips of white tulle tucked in under the vellum vine trim and it is topped with a altered paper rose from Michaels dollar bin (the rose had lots of petals and I needed a simpler flower so I nipped out the center of the rosebud with pliers. A pearl was added to cover the mess I made! To finish, the sentiment was stamped on a tiny label, curled over a pencil for dimension and then slipped under the edge of the oval nestie. Whew, for such a simple card there were a lot of steps!
Thanks for peeking!

So very pretty and soft. Love the white vine around the flower. I ripped up some flowers yesterday, too. They were just too big...hated to do it but sometimes you have to do what works.
