I created this for two challenges. One in honor of this week's Queen Dawn Mercedes. Dawn is a wonderfully tallented crafter - and I love her gallery. The card of hers I chose to case is this one:
I definitely took her CAS and made it much less so. I added 3 layers to add some depth. After stamping the leaves, I ran the layer through my favorite SU EF for texture. I eliminated the ribbon. I did have a ribbon on, but it seemed to draw my attention away from the scripture which is what I wanted most of the focus on.
Which brings me to the second challenge. This month's Fan Club/Dirty Dozen challenge is "where do we go to find our Comfort Zone." When I need comfort, God's Word is where I turn. And God is always there with me to support me and to give me His strength.
Thanks to Dawn, for her inspiration, and Thanks to you for looking. I hope this verse brings comfort to you as well.

This is such a nice case - yes, we did the same cared with very different results. This is such a lovely setting for that scripture, and it does fit both challenges so well.

OH! You made this nestie look so great. It was one of my first nestie sets...and I always think it looks "dumb" on my cards. You've made the mats look fab!
