Fun sketch today, Roxie! Today I used my Clear Dollar Stamps snowman. I just love that sweet guy! Thanks to Trudy for designing him!
I decided to go almost all kraft/natural/rustic to see if he could "carry" the card! Heehee! I think it worked--he looks so cute!
Kraft Hob Lob c.s. base. Kraft Harlequin and small polka dot prints from Hob Lob. Stamped snowman on kraft w/Ranger Medium and embossed with Stampendous black. Inking done with Ranger di tumbled glass and fire brick red. I made the flower with scalloped circles that were cut from a discarded library book. I added just a titch of Ranger vintage photo--but left them pretty "au naturale." I stuck the layers together w/llittle glue dots and scrunchied up the flower. I layered the flower on two scalloped circles (black, light blue scraps.) I made the buttons by punching 3/4" circles out of recyclable boxes. I glued four layers together, then Ranger distress inked them on tops and all around. Added a tiny pc of twine to the tops. I did tweak the sketch by placing the buttons cause I "needed" to use them and I had to make it work. Hope that's okay.
THANKS for looking and HAPPY crafting!

An earthtone snowman! Well, that's cool. He just needs a bit of grass sticking to his bottom and he's a natural. I do like the dots and diamonds together.
