I made this card for my stamping friend, Auntie Susan, and Mum was the Word until (the day after) her birthday. The image is from Delightful Inspirations Friday Image Challenge. I printed a bunch of the images of a full sheet of white cardstock, then clear embossed En Francais on top. After sponging the vase and covering it with Glossy Accents, I used Q-tips to sponge in the leaves and mums, then cut out and popped up several layers. Ran some white ribbon over my ink pad to color it and made some curlicues from paper scraps.
Hope you had a great birthday Sue, and I'm sorry your card was late.

What an awesome card!! I know because I'm the lucky birthday girl who received your beautiful card today. It's even more fabulous IRL than it is here in your gallery.
It was such a nice surprise to receive one of your wonderful handcrafted cards in the mail today. My favorite color, all the fabulous details and extra touches make it extra special. I can imagine how much time and extra work went into making this card for me and it is truly appreciated. Thank you so very much, Hilda.
