Gotta love it when the challenge colors are posted and you already have a card in progress that features them already! I had made this flower a while back (playing with my new scoring board!) using dp from Timeless Portraits in the Cherry Cobbler color...I sponged a little more ink onto the edges and also added a distressed piece behind the antique brad. The Pool Party piece I'd made by inking the raised side of the Vintage Wallpaper ef so that the debossed images have the ink in them and tore and sponged the edges. I still had a piece of very distressed paper bag that I'd stamped the Canvas bg image on in Early Espresso. So, all I needed was a card back and I was halfway there!
I always want dessert, so for my tag, I ran a tag through my crimper then distressed and sponged it a bit. I stamped my images then crumpled, tore, distressed and sponged the piece. Added a piece of hemp that I distressed and sponged to the tag and then put some sticky strip onto my Cherry Cobbler seam binding and made a folded ribbon accent. When I saw this set in the catalog I knew I was going to love it...it was the perfect size for a tag and the images have a vintage feel to them.

Gail, this was the perfect challenge for you! It's great when things work that way. : ) Love your flower...it is really spectacular. I also like the many textures you have incorporated into your card....the burla, embossing, crimping, and ruffling ribbon. A beautiful card.
