I am wanting to get going on my Thanksgiving cards, and I stumbled on an awesome gallery by LateBlossom. What an amazing CAS gallery. If you are ever at a loss for an idea for a CAS card, LateBlossom's gallery is filled with beauties to give you ideas or to case.
That being said, I loved the card on the left so much I decided to case it:
I did not change the layout or the image (which is from Mark's Finest Papers). I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added extra layers, embossed the bg cs, and changed up the color some. I popped up the image panel for dimension.
I forgot to mention, the bg panel that is embossed is exactly the same color as the panel with image stamped on it. I guess because the panel is popped up, my scanner makes the bg panel look darker.
I wanted something simple for Thanksgiving, yet somewhat elegant - and I think this card fits that scenario. Thanks to LateBlossom for the inspiration. (Oh, and I know I will be casing the card on the right in the future too.)
TFL, hope you like it

Lovely!!! The embossed mat and thin layers of color really frame your focal point so well! Thanks for the call-out. It's so nice to hear that something I did inspired someone else in her own creativity.
