 | | What a fun challenge, Jen...I love paper piecing! I had this wonderful set on my desk waiting to be used and it is perfect for this technique. Used Memento Tuxedo Black with papers from DCWV Crafty stack and BG Marrakech (Hat, pants and boat each one piece, shirt two pieces). Sponged the base image with some Tattered Rose and Marina Mist before piecing. I attempted to differentiate the water from the air and to simulate reflections of her feet in the water with the sponging...Matted with more Marrakech DPs and tied a sheer bow before mounting this to a Flourishes white card. Added the anchor and sentiment and done. PT - 1
