Sunflowers are my favorite fall flowers and I love this Local King stamp. The dp is handmade, Marcos brown bag cover is punched with a Fiskars border. Flowers are colored with copics. Butterfly is cut with a Nestie Butterfly and colored with a marker and copics and mounted on corrugated cardboard.

I was disappointed that we were too late to see the sunflowers in France at their best. We passed a couple of fields where they were still all blooming, but most of the fields they were either harvested or just drying out. However the little volunteers here and there at the roadside, or in fields that must have been full last year but fallow this year, were a delight to see - just like this. Your handmade DP really caught my eye.

Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. It must come from my grandmother who was originally from Kansas; it's just in the genes!! Thank you for your kind message and this card is just absolutely lovely with beautiful coloring and that wonderful butterfly to accent the card. Thanks for playing along.
