I really like the new SU stamp with a pear and some script. I thought I could improvise if I bought a pear stamp, and yesterday my pear and an apple arrived. I'd stamped and coloured the pear last night - so today I made an apple inspired by the third of Stef's thumbs, and made them both up into cards.
A2 bases - yellow paper is Cosmo Cricket Material Girl (cut with a Spellbinders edge die for the apple), the other paper on the apple card is Basic Grey Indian Summer, stamped over with Canvas in Versafine Sepia.
Border and sentiments cut from Basic Grey Basics Manilla - Spellbinders tags for the sentiments, MFT Dizzy Border for the edge.
For both cards I stamped the fruit with Versafine Sepia, then added a HA script stamp in the same ink. Fruit coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils and Sansodor, backgrounds sponged with distress inks.
Pear - punched with spiral punch, popped up on foam after stitching the base with brown thread. I ran some narrow satin ribbon through the sentiment tag and stuck it at the back, then added a button with some more ribbon.
For the apple, I tore a strip of card and sponged it with Peeled Paint, then stuck a narrow strip along the edge. *Hinges* on the image panel are the same Fancy Tags die as the sentiment, cut from white card, sponged with Peeled Paint and with red eyelets added. Sentiment sponged around the edges with Peeled Paint and tiny yellow gems added.

What beautiful cards, Sabrina, in warm autumn hues. The pear and apple stamps are terrific. Love the text combined with the image. Pretty die cut elements on each card that add so much.
