Trish has chosen lazylizard(Liz) as our Queen for the Day this week. Liz has one of the BIGGEST galleries I have seen here on SCS....filled with wonderful cards over a span of many years! WOW!! I chose THIS CARD of hers more for inspiration than an actual CASE. I used the same big cat eyes and animal print paper. Hers is an intricately constructed card; mine, a CAS.
Wendy's challenge for today was to make an acknowledgement card. Mine is for one of our dear friends, a man who owns the same old British sports car, a Sunbeam Tiger, as my husband. They might have the only 2 in St. Louis. Being 45 years old, they are mechanical nightmares to keep running. This friend is here whenever my husband needs helps and vice versa. He and his wife have become dear friends. The inside of the card reads, ".... always there! YOU".
Congratulations, Liz. Enjoy your week in the spotlight. I was so impressed by your vast gallery. I also appreciate the time you take to comment on others cards.

How appropriate using this cat when the sports car is a Tiger! = ) I love those big green daunting eyes, and the sentiment is perfect! Isn't it great to have friends who are there for you when you need them?

Wow, I love this CAS version of my card. Yours is the style I much prefer. It is headed for my favorites. If you think my gallery is huge, it's just that I've been here on SCS forever, and it is my file cabinet for my cards. Clears up computer space for me, right??? But if you think it's big, my favorite gallery is probably just as bad. Thanks for the kind words, sharing your fabulous card, and honoring me in this way!

Sallie, this is really a unique card! Those green eyes just get you (like when I tell my grand nephew "I'm goin' GET you"..and I have green eyes...I'm no where near as intense as this guy!) ..wow..what a very cool card! Your friend sounds like a treasure...there when you need him.
