The layout is Week 3 of the Viva la Verve challenge. I used Tosha's card for inspiration...yeah, not sure I could ever stamp like her but I sure CASE'd (copy and share everything) it pretty hard! LOL
Lots of distressing - both hard distressing as well as ink distressing, zig zag stitching, bows, twine, lace, a button - oh delightfully vintage don't you think? Oh my and how could I EVER forget that doily - you know I love them! It was originally white but I stained it vintage to match my color combo.
Great quote eh, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!"? I couldn't resist using musical paper to coincide with the quote. The die cut on the doily as well as the matching stamp (in cream), the quote and the "friend" are all from various Verve Visual stamp sets. LOVE. THEIR. STUFF!
