This week our cards are going to Breanne. She's had some tough medical issues not only for herself, but for some in her family too. Breanne loves and teaches music, so this week we're all about beautiful music.
I went an easy route, though I do admit, this is my second attempt. The first one had the white keys going overboard. And in actually, these keys are ivory, you know, ebony and ivory, tickle the ivories...
It's been awhile since I've tickled the ivories, and now days they are plastic and electric. There's nothing like a wonderful old piano to get the musical juices flowing. Oh the wonderful memories of sitting at the piano with Grandma.
This piano went to the elegant side with the addition of the rose buds. It's an iron on patch, now how easy is that!?
I've been looking at this beautiful treble clef for a few weeks now, so it was the perfect excuse to purchase this stamp.
I hope that Breanne and her family get back to a life with a lot less stress and medical issues in it!!

Great keyboard. My keys actually are ivory, it was the last year Steinway used ivory so I'm lucky. If you were colouring my piano the centre 3 octaves would be very yellow, that is one of the advantages of the plastic veneers. I love the treble clef as well.

Oh Jennifer, your card is so elegant and beautiful and fabulous! Love your "ivory" keys. I have a very old up right grand that has such a wonderful sound to it. Wish I would have stuck to the piano lessons. But then when I took them at an older age, I learned more but couldn't play in front of anyone. The teacher would have to sit in the other room when I played. hehe Oh well. LOVE your card. WOW! TFS :0)

Okay, now that is the shape of a piano key! I didn't have one to refer to in real life even though growing up we had one at home.....I love that you put that elegant fancy schmancy rose on the keys....its such a beautiful card and a wonderful *ivory* addition to Breanne's gallery! You did good Jennifer! You always do!

For some reason the lovely rose and the great keys make me think of some of the elegant movies of decades ago. This is SO classy - and the treble clef was a most appropriate purchase.
