I donÂ’t know about you, but my crafty space is never 100% what I want it to be. IÂ’m forever organizing and reorganizing. Lately, if necessary I build things in order to get what I want.
So, what do you do when you run out of things and places to put things? You go trolling around the house for things to repurpose! That part can get a bit tricky because if you find something really big, like say a bookcase, someone might notice that itÂ’s suddenly missing!
This time I repurposed something from the garage.
I added additional shelves to a bookcase to make use of all the wasted space there would have been.

Oh yes, I'm with you sister! - Forever organizing and moving stuff around. I like your stairstep approach of using every inch of shelf space. I've done something similar to add more shelves to my Ikea bookcases. Keep those good ideas coming.

Hope you anchored that buddy to the wall because it is going to get heavier! Maybe I should make a little trip out to the garage! I was just wondering today how to add a bit of height to the drawers I keep my card making stuff in!

LOL - you go, girl. It just so happens that I have had that exact same bookcase for about a couple deacades and have also looked at that "dead air space" (what I call it) for a long time wishing I could just float something up there. Don't know that I'll ever be so inventive, but I sure admire you for going for it.
