I wove red and white pieces of giant rick rack to make my candy cane 'pole'. Since the card is black - I adhered a slightly smaller white card inside so I could stamp the sentiment and sign the card. it also covers the ends of the rick rack that are folded over and adhered inside the front of the card!

What a darling creation and I really love the rick rack...great idea and so Christmas-y...reminds me of a candy cane.

Julia, what a wonderful card to honor Shelly. Love your gingerman bg for the darling bear holding another gingerman. The interlocking rickrack makes a SUPER neat trim.
