The Tea Potters are going to a REAL Birthday Bash in Philadelphia. Eula is celebrating her 109th...that's right 109!!....birthday! She was honored last year at this time and wrote an eloquent and thoughtful thank you for Tea Potter cards that would put many younger people to shame! I kid you not! You must read Mothermark's story and more about Eula HERE.
The theme this year is "interior design". I was a little challenged in lack of suitable stamps and the fact that my home is one where Architectural Digest will NOT be knocking on the door, cameras in hand! : ) I tried to make the scene for Eula "Pretty in Pink"...pink is "pretty for the puss" and makes us all look good.
WOW...to be 109 and that "with it" is REALLY something. Happy Birthday, Eula!!

ooh! I love pink! We needed a pink room badly! And what a cute fancy chair you brought! It coordinates so well with Eula's birthday present! After the birthday party, we will have the designes wrap up the empty boxes and keep them on display......hey, we don't wanna ruin this wonderful look! You rocked this room Sallie! And Eula will be Tickled PINK to get your card!

As everyone has said the upholstery is gorgeous, looks like a great big Waverly floral print, but all I can focus on is the cup of coffee precariously balanced on the delicate arm of the chair. I sure hope the chair is scotchguarded. Kidding aside this is a beautiful card.

I have read what Eula wrote. Your would never know she was 109! She is one active "young" lady. hehe Love that you are bringing a very pink card for her. That is just super sweet, plus your card is darling! Love the well decorated presents and chair. Eula will truly love this. TFS :0)

Sallie,
What a beautiful card - the chair is wonderful along with that cute sentiment. What a beautiful border you've created for Ms. Eula's card - very elegant and I'm sure she will love it!
