Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for this week is to use Dots or Stripes. See all the details Saturday, Sept 3, 2011 at ODBD's Design Blog. I hope you have time to play, and if you do, use the keyword ODBDSLC75 so we can enjoy your creations too! Make certain you link your card to the blog.
I am thoroughly enjoying Our Daily Bread Design's September release- The Good Seed, and the images and words remind me of my mom and her love of the garden. The main image is watercolored, and framed using Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis Rectangles found HERE.The embossing was done using a Sizzix EF. The framed portion is raised on foam tape to give added dimension, and the little garden trowel is from Michael's.
Thanks for looking, and hope you have time to play!

You know I love everything you do, dontcha?!! You just have a gift of putting it all together with such heart and style. Love, love, love, the elegance of the spellbinder and the detail the embossing adds. I am always amazed at the little embellishments you find--that mini fork is just too perfect. Hugs~

Oh, Pat, you have brought the garden into your crafting room with this garden creation! This set has spurred you on to try all sorts of new ideas - love how you added the striped paper to your embossed panel with the verse, and the colored image gives a down-home look to your card. The nestie on that colorful BG DP frames your Scripture out so elegantly. The ribboned garden trowel is the perfect embellishment. Loved hearing how this set brought back happy memories of your Mom!
Love every inch of this!! Hugs!

Nice texture and color. I like the way you did the embossing over the print paper. Cute little container of tools. Looks like someone is going to do some gardening.
